THE CRIME SHOWS

On Sunday, would you care to know,
is the beginning of all the crime shows,
where law is to uphold a tight grip on a city's popular past time
(the past time naturally how to commit a crime
and naturally not being caught)
But if the cops can be bought
then the crooks have the time
to plot and scheme another series of crimes
to which the cops look stupid and the crooks look good
but if the cops stay straight, like supposedly they should
we can tell how the show is going to end
by watching the first fifteen minutes of the show.
